Is it possible to ERASE data from a LTO cartridge and reuse? Over and over thousands of times.  Answer: The WILTEC Proprietary "Hard Faced" ERASER Head preserves the 5 tape servo tracks for read/write head position control enabling a single LTO Cartridge to be used over and over many thousands of times. All Data on a LTO cartridge is ERASED in one pass from the Beginning of Tape BOT to the End of Media EOM in 90 seconds, Rewind & Unload.
